Last Thursday, we hosted the PTA Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Cafe Delorme and we want to thank the 40 parents and teachers who attended, despite the rain, to enjoy a cosy apéro evening together. This is always a productive meeting where we reflect on the year gone by and confirm PTA plans for the year ahead. If you missed it the Minutes of the meeting can be found below. Additionally, James Wellings kindly shared a detailed update on the forthcoming student trips ‘The Journey’ and I am delighted we were able to congratulate the PTA Voluntary Contribution winners in person: Students, Phoenix and Emily and Teachers, Mrs Lecoy, Mrs Garvey and Mr Michael. We are now looking forward to working with them to deliver their exciting projects.
The AGM is also an occasion to renew the PTA Leadership Team and vote parents into voluntary positions on the team. Some of the team continue in their current roles and all candidates who kindly offered to volunteer for vacant positions were voted in unanimously last week. I am starting a second term as PTA President and I am delighted to be joined by Jules Conley, our new PTA Vice-President, Daniela Margaroli Sevilla as Team Coordinator and our new PTA Voluntary Contribution Coordinators Louise Peeters and Ingrid Zisermann. It is great to be part of such a motivated, kind and capable team of volunteers and I am sure an exciting future lies ahead for the PTA. I would also like to say a huge thank you to Rhoan Morgan who steps down from her two-year term as PTA Vice-President. Rhoan has been a great asset to our team but now gets well-deserved time back to focus on her business. Thank you so much, Rhoan from all of us!
