Mougins School International Day, Friday, June14th 2024

The 3hr stage show was spectacular yet again with brilliant performances by students, compares and external artists who entertained us throughout the afternoon. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated and made it such a mesmerizing show!

The games were elevated this year with a new favourite ‘Surprise Bucket Challenge’ which we have already been asked by students to expand for next year (!) and the Mexican themed PTA bar threw its own fiesta which drew a large crowd throughout the day.

International Day is managed by the PTA Event Committee in partnership with the Mougins School Senior Leadership Team and the event would not be possible without the months of planning, organisation and preparation which happen behind the scenes. A huge THANK YOU to the PTA Event Committee for this year: Anna Demyanenko, Amelia Jeanmart, Alina Stefanescu, Fiona Jensen, Leila Khaireddine, Monique McLintock, Rhoan Morgan and Sarah Lee. Additionally a big thank you to the Mougins School Senior Leadership team as well as Anabela Carregueira, Lise Cudin, Cian Sumner, Christophe and Nicholas Lombardo who put in extra effort all the time to make the impossible possible. It is much appreciated!

As outlined at the recent PTA OGM, this year we have changed how International Day is funded and the cost of the event is now written off against the allocated €4500 budget from the PTA Voluntary Contribution. The amount spent this year fell within the allocated budget and this approach ensures we can deliver the event to the same standard in an environment of increased external supplier costs this year and moving forward to next year.
